Recruitment Fair

Ever wanted to know what it is like to work in Parliament? Looking for a change of career or a new opportunity? On 7 November from 3pm-6pm, the Houses of Parliament will be hosting a Recruitment Fair in the historic Westminster Hall.

This is your chance to find out more about working at the heart of UK democracy. With stalls from across the Houses of Commons, Houses of Lords and the Parliamentary Digital Service, you’ll have the opportunity to meet with some of our hiring managers and discover all the ways in which we make parliament happen. We’ll also be hosting seminars on a first come first served basis where you can learn more about our application process or hear about the career journeys of some of our amazing colleagues.

There will be an opportunity to learn about the many roles available, including Hospitality, Policy and Research, Library, Data Management, Apprenticeships, Customer Service, Security, Maintenance, Visitor Services, Finance and Accounting, Information Technology and Human Resources. 

We’ll also be running some seminars throughout the day which are available on a first come first served basis. 

Schedule 

3:15pm to 3:45pm: Apprenticeships at the Houses of Parliament.  

4:15pm to 5pm: Questions and answers panel on colleagues career journeys.  

5:15pm to 5:45pm: Make the most of your application.

These tickets are for timed slots but once inside the fair you can stay until 6pm.
