From shaping the future to making history, extraordinary things happen here. By delivering our purpose and living our values, everybody in the House Administration plays their part. From security to surveyors, chefs to clerks, media to maintenance – and more – we all support the work of the Chamber and committees and provide excellent services to Members. It’s the essence of why we are all here and what makes our work in the House of Commons unique.

Many different people make Parliament happen

Here, you’ll find a truly diverse range of roles and career paths. From HR Advisors to Landscape Gardeners, and from Architects to Kitchen Porters, we’re all using our unique skills and experiences to make a vital contribution. Whether we’re just starting our career or planning our next steps, we all share a common purpose, and we’re rewarded in return.

A rewarding and inclusive culture

This is somewhere we all feel valued, respected and rewarded. Everyone who works here enjoys an excellent pension, flexibility, and career development. Through learning on the job, formal training and qualifications, you can move in different directions, and take your career where you want. You’ll also have the chance to help shape our future.

Help us evolve into something new

We’re changing to reflect modern society, and you’ll get to influence this. Alongside the UNESCO World Heritage site that’s been a platform for democracy for hundreds of years, we’re creating contemporary workspaces. We’re also harnessing digital transformation, inclusive practices, and building somewhere that works for everyone. We want you to be involved, helping to make Parliament happen for us all.
