Common guidance
As a bicameral department, we share a number of steps and guidance with the House of Commons.
The Parliamentary Digital Service (PDS) and the House of Commons collaborate closely to ensure consistent, effective digital operations across Parliament. Whilst we do have some differences, for example around hybrid working, our shared policies and guidance help streamline processes, promote best practices, and maintain high standards of service.
We have the same rules and guidance for our application process, including filling in the application form and your CV, writing a supporting statement, and requesting any reasonable adjustments.
