Workplace Equality Networks

Our vision is a workplace that is accessible, inclusive and innovative, enabling Parliament to support democracy by being representative, fair and relevant.

What are WENs?

Workplace Equality Networks (WENs) are supported by the House of Commons, House of Lords, and Parliamentary Digital Service. WENs provide a valuable perspective to the administrations on inclusion and diversity topics, as well as a safe space for colleagues to discuss ideas and raise awareness of protected and diversity characteristics. WENs also host events, networking opportunities and awareness raising activities.

Who can join a WEN?

WENs are volunteer-led groups that are inclusive and open to all passholders. Membership is not restricted to people who share a protected characteristic relating to these WENs but those involved are required to respect the aims of the networks.
