ParliGender

ParliGender is the Workplace Equality Network (WEN) for gender equality in Parliament.

Our aim

We aim to support Parliament and its people in achieving gender equality. We do this by:

  • identifying and challenging inequality and discrimination
  • amplifying members’ voices by conveying their views to senior management and project boards in both Houses
  • supporting Parliament to identify and mitigate against any impacts on gender in the workplace
  • providing a safe, inclusive, and easily accessible space for conversation and education on gender equality

To support Parliament and its people in achieving gender equality by identifying and challenging inequality and discrimination and seeking to improve and promote gender equality at every level and in every part of Parliament.

Our strategy

We aim to support and empower individuals, and influence strategy and culture, whilst continuing to build our membership and develop our outreach activities.

Membership

We are always looking for more members across Parliament to help us achieve our aim of gender equality in Parliament.

Membership is open to anyone working in Parliament or with a parliamentary pass: MPs, Peers, those working for MPs or Peers, and colleagues of both Houses and the Digital Service.

Join ParliGender to receive updates on our activities and events, and gender equality news from Parliament and beyond. By joining you can also attend our committee meetings and get more involved with our work.
