Parliament is made up of two distinct Houses; the House of Commons and the House of Lords. Each House has its own administration to support it, including two separate public information offices

The House of Commons Information Office answers enquiries on the work, history and membership of the House of Commons. It also produces a range of publications about the House which are available for free in hard copy on request.

The Information Office produces a range of public information resources. These include:

Parliament and Constitution Centre

The Parliament and Constitution Centre provides a focus for the House of Commons Library's work on Parliament and the Constitution.

This includes a number of background papers explaining in detail aspects of Parliamentary procedure and practice.
