If you feel you have experienced bullying, harassment and/or sexual misconduct and want to make a complaint or you want advice and support, the ICGS is here to help.

The ICGS is also here to help if you have witnessed or are aware of bullying, harassment and sexual misconduct and want guidance and advice.

The Independent Complaints and Grievance Scheme is for all current and former members of the parliamentary community. It’s the first of its kind in any Parliament in the world and is an important step forward in tackling inappropriate behaviour in our workplace. Please use these pages to find out more about the ICGS and to access support and guidance.

ICGS annual reports show key development for the scheme, data on use of the helplines, complaint investigations and Valuing Everyone training. 

ICGS User statistics

The House of Commons, the House of Lords and the Parliamentary Digital Service are committed to publishing anonymised data on the services brought in under the ICGS. Figures are published quarterly.

ICGS Independent Review 2024

Building on from the reviews carried out by Alison Stanley CBE in 2019 and 2021 Paul Kernaghan has now delivered the latest evaluation of the scheme.
