London Olympic Games and Paralympic Games Act 2006

'An Act to make provision in connection with the Olympic Games and the Paralympic Games that are to take place in London in the year 2012; to amend the Olympic Symbol etc. (Protection) Act 1995; and for connected purposes.'

This Act was passed following the announcement from the International Olympic Committee on 6 July 2005 that London had been selected to host the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. It received Royal Assent on 30 March 2006 and includes information on transport, advertising regulations, and trade during the Games.
