Prime Minister's Conference Room Table

This large table is a unique item designed by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott in 1950. Every former British Colony is represented in this table by a gift of one piece of wood, some of them driftwood, which were shaped into triangles and made into a ribbon of inlay 1/8” thick set into the edge of the English oak top. The table is used in the Prime Minister's Conference Room near the Commons Chamber and is not currently on the visitor route.
