Muirhead

Shield commemorating the death of Anthony John Muirhead, the Conservative MP for Wells, who became Under-Secretary of State for Air, followed by Under-Secretary of State for India and Burma, in the National Government of Neville Chamberlain.

Muirhead served in the First World War but committed suicide in 1939 out of fear that a leg injury would prevent him from serving in World War II.
