Working colour drawing of stained glass design

John Hardman Powell was Pugin's only assistant and later became his son-in-law. This collection (HAR) consists of two files of working drawings and cartoons prepared in his studios, relating to the provision of stained glass and other ornamentation for the new Houses of Parliament.  The studio made all of the stained glass (from designs often by AWN Pugin) for the New Houses of Parliament with the exception of that in the House of Lords
