The final instalment of the Elizabeth Tower documentary is set to air on Channel 4, on Sunday 11th December at 7pm.

Episode Four - ‘Big Ben Restored: The Grand Unveiling’ – looks back on the five-year project from the very beginning - as the clock mechanics, engineers, scaffolders, glasscutters and historians of the Elizabeth Tower prepare for one of the most important final moments – the return of Big Ben’s ‘bongs’.

Presented by Director of the Landmark Trust Dr Anna Keay and filmed over the last five years, the final episode sees the project edge towards completion and the return of regular striking on Remembrance Sunday 2022. Audiences will be able to follow as the cameras go behind-the-scenes to capture the work of Parliament’s team of clock mechanics as they prepare the bells and the mechanism for these important national moments.

Big Ben Restored: The Grand Unveiling will be broadcast on Channel 4, on Sunday 11th December at 7pm. Viewers in the UK can also watch the latest instalment, as well as the previous three episodes, online via Channel 4’s on demand service.
