Victor John Collins, Lord Stonham of Earl Stonham (1903-1971)

Victor Collins came from a trade union background and was a Labour MP between 1945-1950 and 1954-1958.

In the House of Lords he served as a minister in Harold Wilson's governments during the 1960s, including the post of Minister of State at the Home Office between 1967 and 1969.
