Victor Noel-Paton, Baron Ferrier of Culter (1900-1992)

Victor Nobel-Paton was made a life peer for his work for the Church of Scotland.

He served in the Indian Army between the two world wars, was a director of a number of companies in India and held office in various Indian public bodies.

In the House of Lords he was Deputy Speaker and Chairman of Committees between 1970 and 1973.
