Message of the House of Commons

The impeachment of Strafford was instigated by John Pym and other opposition MPs. The charges against him included the accusation that he had advised the King that the Irish army could be used against his English subjects.

This is a message from the House of Commons that they are ready to prove their case against the Earl of Strafford.
