'Girl Clerk' press cutting
This press cutting titled 'Girl Clerk in Commons' records the excitement in the House of Commons at the appointment of Kay Midwinter, the first women Clerk in the House of Commons.
It was sent by Basil Drennan, a Clerk in the House of Commons Committee Office, to his father in May 1940.
