Carbon footprint
Parliament's absolute carbon dioxide emissions as at 31st March 2023 were 9,043 tonnes (rolling 12 month total).
This is made up of carbon emissions from our gas fired boilers, and from our use of electricity. In line with standard practice we apply the average grid generation factors to our energy use to calculate our carbon footprint.
