Posts in the House of Lords

The House of Lords has a wide range of specialist, graduate, administrative, and support roles. These include policy specialists, clerks, baristas, and waiters.

Parliamentary Digital Service (PDS)

Parliamentary Digital Service (PDS) is a joint department of both Houses of Parliament. It provides technology and online tools and is transforming Parliament to become digital first.

The House of Lords has a diversity and equality policy in line with UK legislation on equality of opportunity and equal pay.

Internships for people from ethnic minority backgrounds

The House of Lords Administration has partnered with the Windsor Fellowship to launch a new internship programme, offering four opportunities to individuals aged 18 and over, from an ethnic minority background.

We are offering a paid, 1-month internship for four individuals aged 18 and over from an ethnic minority background. You can choose to apply for placements within four Offices across the Administration.

Student placements

There is office-based work experience placements for school students aged 15 to 18 years old.
