Work Experience at Parliament

The UK Parliament Work Experience programme is now live as a pilot virtual programme hosted by Springpod, one of the leading providers of online work experience across the UK. 

Join this programme to gain access to the world of work, meet different teams, understand the range of career opportunities  and watch pre-recorded sessions of some of our colleagues in different careers across Parliament. You'll get access to over 7 hours worth of content, going through 6 modules so you can get your foot in the door and make a real difference.

Please note that local work experience is not permitted in teams and any queries should be directed to the House of Commons Learning and Careers team.

 

Application Process

Applications are open and are being managed by Springpod. The programme is available on demand until 6th October 2024. Please click here to enrol now. Once you have applied to the programme you will receive a confirmation email and will be notified about the outcome of your application via email. We welcome applications from individuals aged 14 to 18, regardless of disability, faith, ethnicity, race, gender identity, sex, sexual identity, caring responsibilities, and socio-economic background. This virtual programme is designed to be fully accessible and open to all students across the country, within this age group.
