Draft Civil Aviation Bill
The Department for Transport published on 23 November 2011 a draft Bill to help implement the Government’s plans for modernising key elements of the regulatory framework for civil aviation in the United Kingdom.
The Civil Aviation Bill was introduced into Parliament on 19 January 2012.

Draft Detention of Terrorist Suspects (Temporary Extension) Bills
The Home Office published two Draft Bills on February 2011 relating to the detention of terrorist suspects.
A Joint Committee of both Houses of Parliament was appointed to conduct pre-legislative scrutiny of the Draft Detention of Terrorist Suspects (Temporary Extensions) Bills.

Draft Defamation Bill
The Ministry of Justice published in March 2011 a consultation document relating to a Draft Defamation Bill. The consultation document includes the text of the Draft Bill.

Draft Electoral Administration Provisions
The Cabinet Office published in July 2011 explanatory notes and draft clauses which would extend the electoral timetable for UK Parliamentary elections from 17 to 25 working days.

Further Draft Electoral Administration Provisions
The Cabinet Office published in September 2011 explanatory notes and draft clauses to remove the automatic postponement of parish and community council elections in England and Wales that currently occurs when a Parliamentary or European Parliamentary general election falls on the ordinary day for local government elections.

Draft Enhanced Terrorism Prevention and Investigation Measures Bill
The Government published the Draft Enhanced Terrorism Prevention and Investigation Measures Bill (Cm 8166) on 1 September 2011. The draft Bill will receive pre-legisaltive scrutiny in the 2012-13 Session of Parliament (see Draft Bills for further information).

Draft Financial Services Bill
HM Treasury published on 16 June 2010 a White Paper and draft Bill to reform financial regulation in the UK.
A Joint Committee of both Houses of Parliament was appointed to conduct pre-legislative scrutiny of the Draft Financial Services Bill. The Financial Services Bill was introduced in to Parliament on 26 January 2012.

Draft Groceries Code Adjudicator Bill
The Department for Business, Innovation and Skills published on 24 May 2011 a draft Bill to create a Groceries Code Adjudicator and the purpose of the Adjudicator will be to enforce and oversee the Groceries Code in the ways described in the Bill.

Draft Recall of MPs Bill
The Cabinet Office published on 13 December 2011 a draft Bill proposing to introduce a power of recall, allowing voters to force a by-election where an MP is found to have engaged in serious wrongdoing and having had a petition calling for a by-election signed by 10% of his or her constituents.
