I was born in Lagos, married a fellow Nigerian and moved to the UK 33 years ago.

I have worked in Parliament for 20 years, the last 15 of which have been under three different Speakers: Michael Martin, John Bercow and Sir Lindsay Hoyle.

In normal times there is always something happening in the state rooms of Speaker’s House, with functions for children, disabled people and all sorts of different groups.

Working here is a bit of a family affair as two of my children have jobs in Parliament.
