My family are from Uganda and my grandfather was one of the first people to receive an MBE from the Queen when she acceded to the throne. My father fought in the Second World War.

I have worked in Parliament for 25 years, and the bit I love most is meeting different people from around the world, learning from them and about their backgrounds.
