My family is traditionally from India but came from Kenya and Uganda. The fact that I am here is because I am a product of the Commonwealth and we share a common language.

I enjoy working in Parliament because of the sense of community. I joined right at the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, which has been a really strange time. But it feels like a really progressive place to work, with lots being done to support staff.
