Faith has been the constant in my life. It was a gift from my Father who took 3 daughters to church from being born and it has been one of the greatest sources of strength I have had throughout my life.
In 2012, I was given a week to live and it was my faith that got me through the 7 days, the operation and the long recovery. As I headed to the operating theatre, I could tangibly feel the power of prayer. It was a miracle I made it through and although I knew my faith was strong before this, I have never looked back from that day to this. I won the 'Lottery ticket of life' with the incredible medical team around me and literally owe them my life.
My faith has been the constant - and I feel very blessed to have it.
