I have always been blest with a faith but it has become more important to me as I get older. I try to find space every day for contemplation and ponder how God has been revealing who God is, since the beginning of time. People have always done this but, as a Christian, I believe God broke through in history two thousand years ago, to show that the meaning of life is about relationship and love. That love has a name, Jesus. In Parliament it isn't too hard to find how much harm, as well as good, has been done in the name of religion. But, on Wednesday evenings I attend Mass in St Mary Undercroft and it feels special to see staff, Members and Peers, taking time out to reflect on how we are being the people God loved us into life to be.
