"Passion! Excitement! Joy! Sadness! I’ve played and watched football all of my life. Enjoyed the ups; suffered the downs! My beloved Everton is the team. I had trials with Liverpool FC when I was younger, played for Merseyside Boys, played in cup finals, won medals - but nothing will ever beat the feeling of playing at Goodison Park, the historic home of Everton FC. I scored at the famous Gwladys Street End - and with the commentary of John Motson ringing around my head indulged in a celebratory ‘knee-slide’ in front of the empty stand. A dream come true!"
