"I volunteer for Free To Be Kids, a London-based charity which support the emotional health of children with various disadvantages such as bereavement, displacement, poverty, immigration issues, bullying, crime, abuse and neglect.
Free To Be Kids runs 4-day Summer/ Easter projects where these children stay away from home and do different activities- cooking, horse-riding, canoeing, camping, sports, film nights, beach trips. For many of these children, it is their first time away from home and doing many of these activities. They are given a break from their home life, and a chance to feel adventurous and successful."
