"I volunteer for Canalside Community Fridge. A group of us got together to set up a community fridge based within the local community. Its purpose was to support people during the cost of living, promote sustainability by reducing food waste and create a place where people can come together to share recipes, food and a conversation.

As one of the volunteers who contributed to setting up the Community Fridge, I helped to promote and recruit volunteers and we are a growing team with various roles. Most Sundays, I drive around my constituency picking up surplus food from cafes and local Co-Ops."
