The House of Lords Management Board has agreed to the publication of details of expense claims made by board members from April 2010. This information is updated quarterly.

Foreign currency claims

The board has also agreed to the publication from April 2011 of information about expenditure using an advance of foreign currency on occasions when Board members travel on official business and have been in receipt of an advance of foreign currency provided and paid for by the House of Lords.

Advances are provided in line with the Travel and Subsistence Scheme set out in the House of Lords Staff Handbook. Board members are not required to provide details of the use of day subsistence payments but may choose to highlight significant items of expenditure.
