Lords question Communications Minister on media convergence

On Tuesday 12 February, in the final evidence session of their inquiry into media convergence and its public policy impact, the Lords Communications Committee will question the Minister for Culture, Communications and Creative Industries.

At 3.30pm, the Minister for Culture, Communications and Creative Industries, Ed Vaizey MP, will face questions from the Committee and be invited to outline the Government's view on the pace of media convergence and the need for a long view and public policy response.

In particular, the Committee will ask about the forthcoming white paper and how the Government plans to address the questions and challenges which have been explored during the inquiry, and equally for its views on proposals made for regulatory and wider policy change in their light.

The evidence session will take place at 3.30pm on Tuesday 12 February in Committee Room 2.

The sessions will be webcast live at www.parliamentlive.tv and are also open to the public. Journalists wishing to attend should go to Parliament's Cromwell Green Entrance and should allow time for security screening.
