Lords EU Committee to take evidence from David Lidington

The House of Lords EU Committee will tomorrow take evidence from David Lidington MP, Minister for Europe.  The session will focus on June's European Council meeting.

Areas the Committee will cover with Mr Lidington include:

  • Jobs and youth unemployment;
  • Banking union;
  • the opening of negotiations on a Stabilisation and Association Agreement with Kosovo;
  • the Multiannual Financial Framework;
  • Government's negotiations with the Commission and Council on the opt out of EU police and criminal justice measures.

The evidence session will start at 4:05pm on Tuesday 16 July in Committee Room 4 of the House of Lords.
