Lords appoint Extradition Committee
The House of Lords today appointed a post-legislative Select Committee on Extradition Law.
The Committee will comprise:
Lord Inglewood (Chairman)
Lord Brown of Eaton-under-Heywood
Baroness Hamwee
Lord Hart of Chilton
Lord Henley
Lord Hussain
Baroness Jay of Paddington
Lord Jones
Lord Mackay of Drumadoon
Lord Rowlands
Baroness Wilcox
It will publish its call for evidence in the near future, which will clearly state the specific areas of extradition law that the Committee will investigate. The Committee has undertaken to report to the House by 5 March 2015.
