áclav Klaus, former President of the Czech Republic.

The House of Lords EU Sub-Committee on External Affairs will next week turn its attention to the role of diplomacy in fostering good EU-Russian relations. At 10.05am the Committee will take oral evidence from Sir Andrew Wood GCMG, Russia and Eurasia Programme, Chatham House.

Then at 11.05am the Committee will hear from Václav Klaus, former President of the Czech Republic.

The evidence sessions will start at 10.5am on Monday 10 November in Committee Room 1 of the House of Lords.

The sessions will be webcast at www.parliamentlive.tv and are also open to the public. Journalists wishing to attend should go to Parliament's Cromwell Green Entrance and should allow time for security screening.
