Campaign to Protect Rural England and Town and Country Planning Association to give evidence on the Built Environment
The House of Lords Committee on the Built Environment will this week take evidence from organisations involved in campaigning on planning issues and the protection of landscape and open spaces.
On Thursday 29 October the Committee will take evidence from 10:10am in Committee Room 2 of the House of Lords. The full witness details are:

In the first session the Committee will focus on how the National Planning Policy Framework could be reformed to improve its effectiveness, whether the country's pressing housing need can be met by brownfield development alone and whether there should be Green Belt policy reform to relieve growth pressures on London and other cities.
In the second session questions will touch on the role green infrastructure should have on the planning process, how government departments and other policy makers can work together more effectively to deliver resilient built environments and what impact the pressure for higher-density developments in urban areas is having on the provision of green spaces.
