Lords to report on Parliament's role in scrutinising Brexit
The House of Lords EU Committee will next week publish its report on Parliament's role in scrutinising the Brexit process.
The Committee has been examining the role of Parliament in the scrutiny of the negotiations on the UK's withdrawal from, and new relationship with, the European Union. The report will make recommendations to Government on how Parliament can play a constructive role in supporting – and scrutinising - the Government in what will be the most important and complex negotiation it has ever undertaken.
The report will be published at 00:01 on Thursday 20 October. Copies will be available to the media under embargo on Wednesday 19 October.
