Should public service broadcasters make programmes more easily available online? Lords to hear evidence
On Tuesday 4 June the House of Lords Communications Committee will continue taking evidence for its inquiry into public service broadcasting in the age of video on demand when it will question representatives from Virgin Media, techUK and Arqiva.
The Committee will ask the witnesses about changes in the distribution and consumption of TV and how broadcasters' video on demand and other online services could be more appealing to audiences.
The evidence session will begin at 3.30pm in Committee Room 2 of the House of Lords, the witnesses are:
- David Bouchier, Chief Entertainment Officer, Virgin Media
- Steve Holebrook, Managing Director, Terrestrial Broadcast, Arqiva
- Craig Melson, Programme Manager, techUK.
