Lords PNQ: impact of security law in Hong Kong
The Lord Speaker has allowed Lord Alton of Liverpool to ask the Government a Private Notice Question following oral questions today, which should end around 12pm.
The PNQ will be a virtual proceeding and can be watched on Parliament TV.
Lord Alton of Liverpool to ask Her Majesty's Government what assessment they have made of the proposal by the National People's Congress of China for a national security law in Hong Kong, and the impact any such law would have on the “one country, two systems” framework, and the civil liberties of those living in Hong Kong.
