Lords EU Committee to publish report on Ireland/Northern Ireland Protocol
The House of Lords EU Committee will on Monday 1 June publish its report on the Protocol on Ireland/Northern Ireland.
The Committee have been looking in detail at the Protocol and its potential effect on Northern Ireland. The report, which will be published exactly seven months before the Protocol comes into force on 1 January 2021, examines each of the Articles in the Protocol, providing an analysis of their potential impact.
In compiling its report the Committee took evidence from a wide range of witnesses including Belfast International Airport, Belfast Harbour, the Freight Transport Association Northern Ireland, Stena Line and the Northern Ireland Business Network.
