Lords COVID-19 Committee to hear from Town and City leaders about the long-term impact of the pandemic

On Tuesday 13 July, the COVID-19 Select Committee will hear from town and city leaders in an evidence session exploring the most significant long-term consequences of the pandemic for towns and cities, and how these might change plans and priorities for their future.
The session will also explore how the pandemic’s impact on towns and cities will affect different communities, impact existing inequalities and risk creating new inequalities.
The session will take place virtually from 9.45am and will be available to watch live or on demand at Parliament TV.

- Carl Smith, Leader of Great Yarmouth Borough Council,
- Margaret Davidson, Leader of the Highland Council, and
- Lucille Thompson, Leader of Winchester City Council.
