Lords to examine racial and ethnic disparities in the adoption system

Today the House of Lords Select Committee on the Children and Families Act 2014 will continue its inquiry examining whether the Children and Families Act 2014 is fit for purpose.
In this session the Committee will explore the racial and ethnic disparities in the adoption system with two witnesses who have founded initiatives which aim to increase the diversity of the adoption system and improve the experience of minority ethnicity adopters and adoptees.
The public evidence session will take place in Committee Room 3 at 3.15pm (BST) on Monday 6 June 2022 and can be viewed live on Parliament TV
