Questions the Committee is likely to ask include:

  • How does communityinvolvement/engagement in transport provision shape transport networks?
  • What can be done to ensure that passengers are at the centre of decision making about public transport at both the national and local level?
  • How can the Government’s commitment in the Williams-Shapps Plan for Rail to empower community rail be realised?
  • How might passengers on other modes, including buses, have their voices heard more effectively and influence policy making?
