Lords to examine critical issues in the English adoption system

On Monday 21 March the House of Lords Select Committee on the Children and Families Act 2014 will continue its inquiry examining whether the Children and Families Act 2014 is fit for purpose.
In this session the Committee will focus on adoption and explore some of the most critical issues in the English adoption system with key experts in the field. The committee will also explore the impact of the reforms introduced by the Act, with a particular focus on the experiences of kinship carers and birth families.
The public evidence session will take place at 3.15pm (GMT) on Monday 21 March 2022 and can be viewed live on Parliament TV.
