Public transport inquiry to hear evidence on transport innovation

Monday 14 March 2022

On Tuesday 15 March 2022, the Lords Built Environment Committee will take evidence from Enterprise Holdings, the world’s largest car rental operator.

At 10.00am, the Committee will hear from:

  • Oz Choudhri, Head of Mobility Solutions UK & Ireland, Enterprise Holdings
  • Laura Holloway, Head of Government and Public Affairs UK & Ireland, Enterprise Holdings.

This evidence session will be streamed on Parliament TV. It is part of the committee’s inquiry on public transport in towns and cities.

Questions the Committee is likely to ask include:

  1. How can better integration and connectivity across public transport modes be delivered in urban areas outside London?
  2. What physical infrastructure will be required to enable greater mobility, including the use of shared mobility services? What are the barriers to delivering this?
  3. How could innovation and data help transport services meet consumer demand? What are the challenges in regulating transport innovation?

The Committee’s work can be followed on its website and via Twitter.
