Research councils to give views on the UK science and technology strategy

On Tuesday 29 March, the House of Lords Science and Technology Committee will hear from the Executive Chairs of the Natural Environment Research Council, the Economic and Social Research Council, and the Medical Research Council in its sixth evidence session of the inquiry: Delivering a UK science and technology strategy.
These bodies have been overseen by UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) since 2018.
The Committee will hear views on how the UK can meet the Government’s target of becoming a “science superpower” by 2030.
The public evidence session will take place at 11.15am (GMT) on Tuesday 29 March 2022 and can be viewed live on Parliament TV.
