Grant Shapps to appear before Lords Environment and Climate Change Committee

The House of Lords Environment and Climate Change Committee will hear from The Rt Hon Grant Shapps MP, Secretary of State for Energy Security and Net Zero in a one-off session on Tuesday 25 April from 2pm.
The session can be followed live or afterwards on Parliament TV or in person in the Palace of Westminster (committee room 3).
Questions from the committee will cover the following areas:
- Priorities for the new Department for Energy Security and Net Zero
- Coordination and delivery of climate policy across government and beyond
- “Powering Up Britain” announcements (Net Zero Strategy refresh)
- The Boiler Upgrade Scheme.
