Lord Hague to give evidence on future of the UK-EU relationship post Brexit to Lords European Affairs Committee

At 4pm on Tuesday 31 January the House of Lords European Affairs Committee will hear from Lord Hague of Richmond, former Foreign Secretary and former Leader of the Conservative Party.
This evidence session is part of the Committee’s inquiry examining the overarching state of the post-Brexit UK-EU relationship and how it might be improved in the future.
Topics the Committee is likely to cover in this session include:
- The overall state of the current political, diplomatic and institutional relationship between the UK and the EU
- The UK-EU relationship on foreign policy, security and defence
- Energy cooperation between the UK and the EU
- Mobility of people between the UK and the EU, including for education and work
The evidence session will take place a 4pm on Tuesday 31 January in Committee Room 4 and can be viewed live on Parliament TV.
