Nick Gibb gives evidence to Lords inquiry into the secondary education system

Tuesday 11 July

Minster of State for Schools, Nick Gibb MP, will give evidence to the House of Lords Education for 11 - 16 Year Olds Committee on Thursday 13 July.

The session begins at 11am and can be followed live or afterwards on Parliament TV or in person in Committee Room 4.


Possible questions will centre around topics covered by the inquiry so far, including:

  • The purpose of 11-16 education
  • School accountability measures
  • The curriculum at key stages 3 and 4
  • GCSEs and other key stage 4 qualifications


Mr Gibb will be joined by:

  • Juliet Chua, Director General for Schools, Department for Education;
  • Stuart Miller, Director of Curriculum, Department for Education
