Minister for Europe Leo Docherty questioned on the future of the UK-EU relationship following the agreement on the Windsor Framework

At 1.30pm on Tuesday 7 March the House of Lords European Affairs Committee will hear from Leo Docherty MP, Minister for Europe at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office.
This will be the final evidence session of the committee’s inquiry examining the overarching state of the post-Brexit UK-EU relationship and how it might be improved in the future.
The Minister will be questioned on topics including:
- How the Government would like to see the UK-EU relationship develop over the next few years, in light of the Windsor Framework
- The UK-EU relationship in foreign and security policy
- The UK’s approach to the NATO-EU relationship, and wider UK-EU defence cooperation
- UK-EU energy cooperation in the context of the current energy security challenges in Europe, including on renewables in the North Sea
- Climate change mitigation
- Movement of creative professionals between the UK and the EU
- School visits and student exchanges between the UK and the EU
- The institutional relationship between the UK and the EU
The evidence session will take place a 1.30pm on Tuesday 7 March in Committee Room 4 and can be viewed live on Parliament TV.
