Ambassador of European Union to give evidence on EU’s foreign and security response to Ukraine invasion

At 4:00pm on Tuesday 14  November the House of Lords European Affairs Committee, chaired by Lord Ricketts, will hear from HE Pedro Serrano, Ambassador of the European Union to the United Kingdom as they continue to take evidence on the implications of Russia’s invasion on Ukraine for UK-EU relations.  

The evidence session will be available to watch live or on demand on Parliament TV or in person in Committee Room 8, Palace of Westminster. 

Questions will focus on the following themes: 

  • The EU’s overall foreign and security policy response to the Russian invasion of Ukraine   
  • Sanctions cooperation 
  • Defence cooperation  
  • Post-war reconstruction of Ukraine 
  • Future of the EU.
