Lords Electric Vehicles inquiry hears from Local Authorities

The House of Lords Environment and Climate Change Committee continues its inquiry into Electric Vehicles (EVs), by exploring the role and responsibilities of Local Authorities in the EV charging infrastructure rollout, and how well policies, incentives and coordination are working at the local level.

The evidence session can be followed live on Parliament TV or in person in Committee Room 4, Palace of Westminster on Wednesday 25 October from 10am.

Giving evidence will be:

  • Shamala Evans-Gadgil, EV Infrastructure Programme Manager, Consultant working on behalf of Coventry City Council;
  • Peter Ollivere, Policy Team Leader (Spatial Policy) Durham County Council;
  • Ian Cameron, Director of Innovation and Customer Service, UK Power Networks;
  • Dr Chris Pateman-Jones, Chief Executive Officer, Connected Kerb EV Charging Solutions.
